Multimedia Language Labs (MMLL)

AAU offers two state-of-the-art multimedia language labs with 20 computer workstations each and laser printer. The MMLLs have numerous computer applications available to help ESL students learn English skills.

8:00-8:30 am

11:30 am-12:00 noon

3:00-3:30 pm

6:30-8:00 pm

If I have a question about something in the MMLL, is there someone who can help me?
• Yes! The MMLL is staffed with a friendly lab tech who is knowledgable in all of the applications offered at the MML.


What can I do in the MMLL?
• There is so much to do in the MMLL! The MMLL has a many computer programs available to help you practice your English:

—you can practice pronunciation, grammar and writing as well as play language-based games, do typing tutorials, watch art and language videos and much more.


Stop by during the open access hours and talk to the lab tech to get some ideas of how you can work on your English in the lab.


Can I work on programs such as Photoshop or Illustrator in the MMLL?
• Sorry, no. The MMLL is a special lab dedicated to language learning and offers applications that are specifically designed for this purpose.


You may use Microsoft Word or the Internet in the MMLL as well as language learning software.
